For the natural fiber lover, Rowan Purelife British Sheep Breeds cannot be duplicated. This cowl appeared in Vogue Knitting Holiday 2011 issue and is delicious to knit and wear. It uses 3 skeins of Rowan Purelife Boucle and a #15 needle. Provisionally cast on 28 stitches, the cowl is knit every stitch on the wrong side row and K4, P20, K4 on the right side. Worked straight as opposed to knitting in the round, the cowl shape is grafted from the provisional cast on row to the last row at 28".
